Last night’s reunion of #DanceMoms was all about saying goodbye to the golden sisters of Lifetime, Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler.

Basically, so was this entire season. But we digress …

If you watch Dance Moms online, prepare for a lot of tears as the women of the Abby Lee Dance Company pay tribute to the siblings.

Maddie reflects on the fact that Nia Frazier, Mackenzie and herself are the only original cast members, so there is, like, so much history.

Enough history to make you forget about Abby Lee Miller for a second! For once in her life(time!) the shot-caller played second fiddle.

This night was all Ziegler, all the time, for good reason.

We all know the show is based on drama, but if there’s been any young talent that truly stood out and took the show to the next level?

It was Maddie, and later Mackenzie. No doubt about it.

Kendall Vertes, another longtime mainstay, agrees and says they have been through so much and traveled together, it’s been amazing.

The plot line of Maddie Ziegler leaving Dance Moms was milked to death this year, but it really was a huge undertaking for the ALDC.

Without question, things are changing forever.

In the aftermath, Kalani Hilliker says she has a shot at the top of the pyramid with Maddie out, so when one door closes, another opens.

Brynn Rumfallo says she’s grown incredibly attached to the two and says that she does everything with Mackenzie Ziegler in particular.

She’s not just losing a teammate, but a BFF.

JoJo Siwa says that for all of them, Dance Moms has inspired them and encouraged so many people across the world to dance too.

Cue the clips of Maddie and Mackenzie when they were young and starting out, and it’s hard to believe the young women they’ve become.

Six years. Six. How fast the time flies by …

Maddie says she has a lot of memories with the girls and cherishes them, and through tears, prepares to do one last solo for the crowd.

Kalani says it’s hard to see them leave but knows they’re moving on to bigger, better things. Kendall says Mackenzie is like a little sister.

Basically, it’s one big love-fest on Lifetime.

What are your favorite memories of the Zieglers? Will the show be the same without them when it returns for a seventh season soon?
