Sadie Robertson and pro partner Mark Ballas sailed through the first Dancing With the Stars results show of the season. That was no surprise to any viewer.
What might surprise some is that Mark feels the Duck Dynasty star, despite her lack of dance training, has what it takes to go all the way this fall!
The couple’s Cha Cha on the premiere earned the Quack Pack one of the best scores of the evening, a solid 34 out of 40 that wowed Ballas himself.
Mark noted that he was equally impressed with Bethany Mota, Alfonso Ribeiro, Randy Couture and Tommy Chong, from whom he didn’t know what to expect.
Sadie, though, "just pulled it out of the bag," Ballas says. "She hit this ‘on’ switch that I hadn’t seen in rehearsals yet. It blew me away! She was so cute."
"Her face lit up the whole room. She had a lot of rhythm, which is amazing for someone with no dance experience. She’s naturally gifted – she’s got it!"
She must get it from Korie. No offense to her father, Willie Robertson, by all accounts a stand-up guy … but she must get these gifts from her mom.
"I thought the entire evening was cool. We had a great opening show, and I’m really excited to continue and drive all the way to the finals with Sadie!"
