Busy Philipps is the latest woman to go on record about James Franco.

Unlike other alleged victims of the actor, however, Phillips is not claiming that Franco ever sexually assaulted her.

But she does tell a very disturbing story about Franco in her upcoming memoir.

Both Phillips and Franco got their big break on the beloved short-lived series Freaks and Geeks.

Taking readers of "This Will Only Hurt a Little" back in time to 1999, Philipps explains in one section of her book that she was filming a scene with Franco and was directed to gently hit her co-star in the chest while delivering her line.

So she did so, of course.

And Franco simply snapped in response.

“He grabbed both my arms and screamed in my face, ‘DON’T EVER TOUCH ME AGAIN!’” Philipps writes, adding that Franco broke character and:

“He threw me to the ground. Flat on my back. Wind knocked out of me.”

YIKES, right?

Philipps says that Franco then stormed off, leaving the horrified crew to rush in help her up.

Franco apologized to Phillips the following day, but was never punished for his actiions, she writes.

We obviously have no idea whether this incident took place as described by the actress.

But we certainly have no idea why she would make it up after all this time; Phillips has a new talk show debuting on October 28 and has worked steadily for years.

She has no need to conjure up allegations for attention or anything of that nature.

Back in January, five women came out and alleged that Franco had assaulted them in various ways.

One woman, for example, says the star simply pulled his penis out in the middle of a conversation.

Other actresses, meanwhile, detailed the ways in which Franco went over the line while filming sex scenes or nude scenes with them.

Appearing as a guest opposite Seth Meyers not long after these claims were made, Franco tried to act respectful of the #MeToo movement while maintaining his own personal innocence.

“This is a conversation that obviously needs to be had,” Franco told Meyers, adding at the time:

“There are people, women and others, who have not been a part of this conversation and I truly believe that they need to be. So I support that.”

But Franco, who was reportedly in a bad place after these accusations went public, has sworn he should not be included in the conversation.

“His close friends are trying to be there for him but it’s been hard – he’s only talking to a select group of people. For now, he’s just hiding out," an insider said several months ago.

Concluded Franco to Meyers in January:

"I have my own side of this story, but I believe in these people that have been underrepresented getting their stories out enough that I will hold back things that I could say, just because I believe in it that much…

"If I have to take a knock because I’m not going to try and actively refute things, then I will, because I believe in it that much."
