The Jules Wainstein divorce has gone from scandalous to scary.

Multiple outlets have confirmed that The Real Housewives of New York Star star called the police on her estranged husband on Thursday morning after feeling threatened by her soon-to-be ex, Michael.

"Jules was the one who called the police," an insider tells E! News, adding that Wainstein needed help from the authorities because Michael was speaking to her in a threatening manner.

It’s unknown at this time exactly what was said.

But no arrests were made.

This call to the cops arrives on the heels of the reality star confirming that her marriage has come to an end after eight years together.

Unsurprisingly, the E! source says "this divorce is contentious and it’s going to be ongoing."

At least Wainstein has the support of Ramona Singer, however.

Those who watch The Real Housewives of New York City online or on television say tension between the Wainsteins reach a boiling point this past Wednesday.

During the latest episode of the Bravo hit, the famous couple arrived late to dinner with Dorinda Medley and her boyfriend, John.

A frazzled Jules apologized to her costar and friend, blaming their tardiness on her husband.

Michael then kept excusing himself during the meal to talk on his phone, prompting Jules to openly wonder who he kept talking to.

At one point during the very awkward (albeit entertaining!) evening, Michael made a quip about hiring the coat check lady to be their nanny.

“If Michael is making a joke to the coat check about having a hot nanny, go f–k yourself,” Jules told the camera.

It’s worth noting that the couple is getting divorced because Jules suspects Michael of cheating.

"They were having issues before the show but I think pressure from filming clearly put a strain the marriage," an insider told E! in the recent past.

"It brought things to a head."

This is all especially said because the Wainsteins are the parents to two kids, Rio, 2, and Jagger, 5.

The Real Housewives of New York City airs on Bravo Wednesdays at 9/8c.
