More sad news today out of the world of reality television.

Lisa Fleming, a woman who weighed more than 700 pounds during her stint on TLC’s My 600-lb Life, has been found dead in Houston, Texas.

She was 50 years old.

The tragic news was confirmed on Facebook by Fleming’s daughter, Danielle, who wrote the following:

I am truly at a loss for words right now. God knows I wanted you to hold on until I got here, but He knew what was best for me. I didn’t need to see you like that!

Danielle went on to say that she held her late’s mother’s hand for four hours, knowing “nothing I could’ve done would bring you back to me" and adding:

Anybody who knows me knows I gave my mother my ALL. She was my world and I was her #NumberOneGirl.

Mommy, I love you from here to the stars and back!

Fleming reached 704 pounds at the age of 49 and that’s when she reached out to Dr. Younan Nowzaradan.

Viewers of the aforementioned series watched as maggots were actually discovered in the folds of Lisa’s skin.

Nevertheless, she managed to lose 87 pounds while on a controlled diet under doctors’ supervision.

It comes as no surprise that Fleming’s weight led to numerous health problems for her over the years.

Did it play a role in her demise, though?

Danielle tells TMZ that it actually did play a role in her mom’s passing, though more cumulatively than acutely.

Following her appearance on the show, Lisa reportedly shed 200 pounds and was able to stand on her own.

Danielle says her mom was sick before she appeared on the series and that these illnesses took their toll over time.

"At the end she was sick and her body was tired and her body just gave out," says Danielle.

Fleming was a cast member on Season 6 of My 600-lb Life, which just aired this past February.

She admitted to viewers at the time that she always has issues with her weight, but they had worsened of late.

These issues were exacerbated, she said, after her brother was murdered and she fell into depression.

This death comes just weeks another former series star, James “L.B.” Bonner, committed suicide at age 30.

Fans may recall that Bonner died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, unable to overcome his own depression.

His battle with depression largely stemmed from having to have his leg amputated following a 2013 car accident.

As you might expect for a show that does focus on the severe obese, Bonner and Fleming aren’t the only stars from the TLC program to have passed away.

In March, fans mourned the death of Robert Buchel after they learned that he died from a heart attack at age 41 in November.

His death was revealed during his episode on the show, on which he dropped to 502 pounds with diet and weight loss surgery.

In a statement at the time, TLC said it was "deeply saddened" by his death, adding:

“We are grateful to his family who were gracious enough to let us continue to share his brave story with our viewers."

"Our thoughts and prayers are with them at this difficult time.”

We feel the same way about Bonner and Fleming.

May they rest in peace.
