The following photo collection is so gosh darn cute that you may just faint on the spot. Or at least emit really high-pitched sounds that make little to no sense at all.
This is just the basic human reaction to pictures of a newborn baby, which is exactly what Amy Duggar has on her hands after giving birth to her first child just three weeks ago.
The little boy entered this complicated world on October 9… is named Daxton Ryan King… weighed in at 7 pounds, 8 ounces … measured 20 inches in length…
… and is just so precious we can barely even handle it.
While the 33-year old didn’t pose any pictures immediately upon becoming a mother, she has gone ahead and made up for this delay by sharing a multitude of precious snapshots.
To wit:
"Those eyes…may you never lose your wonder baby boy," wrote the proud and excited mom as a caption to this image above.
Amy has been remarkably open with Instagram followers ever since announcing she and her husband, Dillon, were expecting.
“Brb.. we’re gonna go be parents now!!” she even wrote alongside a photo of herself and Dillon on their way into the hospital on the day she had a C-Section.
"With my small frame and the fact that the Dr. Said theres an 85% chance I’d have an emergency situation, we went ahead and scheduled a cesarean to be on the safe side," she explained on that same day.
Amy went on to admit she was a "ball of nerves" as she waited for the surgery, asking fans to please keep her in their thoughts and prayers.
"In just a few hours our lives will be forever changed!" she added at the time. "I’m focused on God’s promises and that sweet little face!! Ok, daddy let’s do this!!!”
And then did it Amy sure did.
And this was the miraculous result:
Amy waited until the ripe old age of 33 to have a child.
She then went ahead and said she wanted to take lots of drugs to help her through the delivery, while also confirming she only plans to have this one kid.
This obviously makes her quite the outlier in the Duggar family, but one thing Amy has in common with her relatives is on full display above:
