You may now go ahead and call him Daddy, folks.

Officially.

Upon the release of his new album on Thursday night, Drake finally confirmed what has been speculated for weeks, thanks to a call-out by rapping rival Pusha T.

Yes, he’s a father.

The 31-year-old artist confirmed the long-rumored news that he fathered a child with French former adult-film star Sophie Brussaux on his new double album Scorpion, which was released just prior to midnight on Apple Music

In the track “Emotionless," which samples Mariah Carey, Drake declares rather simply:

“I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world/I was hiding the world from my kid.”

We can’t say for certain whether this is true.

But we do know that Pusha forced his foe’s hand by firing off allegations of negligent parenting at Drake on the single "Adidon."

"A baby’s involved, it’s deeper than rap. We talking character, let me keep with the facts," Pusha raps in this song, adding with force:

You are hiding a child let that boy come home. Deadbeat motherf-cker playing border patrol..

Insiders have since spoken for Drake and acknowledged he has a kid.

But this is the first time we’ve heard from the star himself on the subject.

On this album, Drake contends that he never tried to cover up his baby’s mother or the child himself.

He just figured it wasn’t anyone’s business.

“Breakin’ news in my life I don’t run to the blogs," he rapes. "The only ones I wanna tell are the ones I can call."

Now it’s just a question of whether fans will believe this, or whether they’ll think Drake was embarrassed and ashamed and kept the entire thing quiet until Pusha T prompted him to go public.

The 25-track project ends with a song titled “March 14,” on which Drake  recalls the moment when he first found out that he has a son named Adonis.:

“Yesterday morning was crazy/I had to come to terms with the fact that it’s not a maybe/That sh-t is in stone, sealed and signed/She not my lover like Billie Jean, but the kid is mine."

Drake also says:

"[My mom] Sandi used to tell me all it takes is one time, and all it took was one time/Sh-t, we only met two times, two times.”

Adonis was born on October 11 and Drake claims he celebrated in Miami when the DNA test confirmed he was the little boy’s father.

However, the artist has only seen his son one time since Christmas.

Aside from this major baby bombshell, the Canadian star’s album also features JAY-Z, Nicki Minaj, Future and Ty Dolla $ign.

In conclusion, The Degrassi alum speaks directly to his son as follows:

Fairytales are saved for the bedtime stories I tell you now/I don’t want you to worry about whose house you live at.

Or who loves you more or who’s not there/Who did what to who ‘fore you got here.
