Carrie Underwood is pregnant!!!
The former American Idol champion made this announcement yesterday, giving new meaning to the term “Labor Day” and confirming that she husband Mike Fisher are expecting their first child in the spring.
Just two days prior, meanwhile, Underwood posed for the following Instagram photo, which now takes on a new meaning as we search for signs of a baby bump…
“Bye bye beach! I’m gonna miss you!” Underwood – rocking a a Texas Longhorns top, striped bikini bottoms and purple shorts – wrote as a caption.
She and Fisher got married in 2010 and the singer wasn’t sure about having children in April 2013.
“I don’t feel old enough to have kids,” she told Marie Claire at the time. “I know I am mature. But being responsible for another human?”
At least Carrie still has a few more months to get used to the idea. We’re so very happy for her!
