What was in the water at Grey-Sloan Memorial this week?!?

It’s seemed as if no one was in a good mood on Grey’s Anatomy Season 11 Episode 3, with fights breaking out left, right and in the middle. To wit…

Owen guilt-tripped Callie into enlisting Veterans Rehab Hospital patients as subjects in her robotic limb study. Seemed like a nice, generous idea, right?

Yes… until Owen promised results when he shouldn’t have so and ordered Callie to "fix" a wounded warrior whose severely amputated leg made him ineligible for the procedure.

Fortunately, Jackson came up with a solution that permitted Callie to come through for the soldier after all.

There was a major back-and-forth between Callie and Owen in the hallway, but the former eventually forgave Callie the latter when he confessed that he was scared… without something good happening, he feared he might once more become as dark as he was before he met Cristina.

Told “we are not peers” by the stern Dr. Herman, Arizona was falling very far behind in her fellowship. She then got excited at what she mistakenly believed to be Callie’s suggestion that they wait to have kids, which led to a blowout between the couple.

“Say it,” Callie shouted. “You don’t want a baby.”

Meredith interrupted Alex in the shower (giving props to his “spectaculr junk”) and recruited her new Person to help her investigate Maggie.

Meanwhile, Maggie – unaware that Richard is her dad – continued to confide in him. Following his quick removal of a tree branch from an impaled patient, he seemed ready to blurt out the truth.

Later on, Alex pulled a Willow Rosenberg that revealed to Meredith the truth: she and Maggie are, for certain, sisters. Mer brought this fact to Richard, who said he’s only known for a week, though he wishes he had known for the last 30 years.

Richard also revealed this to Maggie, who called him a "coward" in response.

April was caught in the middle of a sibling rivalry, with Derek now staying in Seattle and therefore acting as “king of the hospital” in Amelia’s eyes.

The female Sheperd said she had no plans to give up her turf any time soon, while the male version said Meredith backed him into a corner when it came to the D.C. job by refusing to move with him. He then went off on his wife about how he never would have stuck around if he knew she would just be getting drunk with Alex all the time.

Finally, the board voted to take Miranda instead of Alex.
