Leah Messer is single.
But she isn’t quite sure when she will mingle again.
the Teen Mom 2 star sat and talked with Us Weekly about her love life a couple days ago, dishing on Jason Jordan and updating fans on the ex-couple’s status.
Do they still talk? Why or why not?
And does Messer think she’ll find true love somewhere down the lines?
Scroll down to lap up all the that Messer spilled in this interview…
Let’s Delve Right Into It… Is Messer with Jordan at the moment? No, she tells Us Weekly: “I’ve been single for about a month.”
So It’s Over with Jason Jordan? Yes, Leah explains. But Teen Mom 2 fans won’t learn why on the current season.
But Tune in Next Year! Messer noted that while the romance with Jordan has been a huge storylie on season 9, the split won’t be shown because of the filming schedule. “You’ll see me talking about it on the new season,” she teases.
What’s the History Here? Messer and Jordan first got together for about six months, ending their courtship in October of 2018. The pair rekindled their romance the following month, prior to breaking up again in March
Where Did It Go Wrong? Leah doesn’t get into specifics, but it sounds like perhaps too much attention was paid to all the kids involved.
Say What? You see, Leah previously told this same publication that the two bonded over both having children: he has a two-year-old son from a previous relationship; and Messer shares nine-year-old twins Aleeah and Aliannah with first husband Corey Simms and Adalynn, 6, with second husband Jeremy Calvert.
This Sounds Great, Right? At first, absolutely. But Jordan and Messer may have focused too much on this aspect of their lives and not enough on how they actually just feel about the other person. Just a theory.
The Break-Up Does Not Sound Amicable “It’s definitely done. Last time, he was going through a little bit of things, like, with his custody stuff. I was, like, ‘He is going through a lot, let’s give it another chance,’” Messer tells Us.
But Then? She learned that the two do not belong together. At. All. “It was just a toxic relationship. It wasn’t great,” she says here.
We “Don’t Talk” Anymore, Leah Says Oh. That’s too bad.
Is She Dating Anyone New? Nope, Leah says, adding that she doesn’t see love on the horizon, either.
Awww, Why Not? “You don’t know who’s in it for the right reasons and who is not in it. Being on TV makes it difficult dating. I just roll with it. I’m not looking for anything,” she says, making an understandable point.
What Had Leah Said in the Past About This Split? Only some vague, mysterious, sort of bitter-sounding stuff, Tweeting in late March for example: “My thought of the day… Everyone comes into our lives for a reason, a season or a lifetime. I’m thankful for everyone I’ve journeyed with and continue to learn and grow.”
That Doesn’t Sound So Terrible “”When we can live in the present with appreciation, there’s no room for judgment,” she continued at the time. “Some things are just not meant to be and that’s ok.
From There, However? (MTV) “You’re so vain / you probably think / this Tweet is about you,” Leah retweeted from another user during this run of messages, implying that she wasn’t too thrilled with Jason.
Messer Also Liked a Post About Relationship Equality (MTV) It read: “If he pays for dinner, I got the tip. If he buys the movie ticket, I got the snacks and drinks. If he pays for everything one night, I got the next date. It’s a balanced relationship that’s how we roll.”
Then There Was This Tweet on March 24: (MTV) “I don’t wanna be your second best… I wanna be your only!”
And Finally: Also back in March on Twitter: “When someone shows you who they are believe them. Facts.”
You Do You, Leah! Stay strong, girlfriend! But please tell us this rumor isn’t true. Please tell us you are not back together with Jeremy Calvert. Please.
