Just one day after being charged, Chris Brown is no longer wanted for battery.

Yesterday, Chris was accused of punching a man during a Vegas basketball game – which comes as no surprise because Chris Brown has a history of violent behavior.

But today, the same guy called the cops and declined to press charges.

He offered no explanation, and the case is closed.

This is a lucky break for Brown, who has been in a string of legal issues in recent years ever since he beat up Rihanna before the 2009 Grammys.

He hasn’t beaten another woman since then, but he has beaten the rap plenty of times. Guy has been arrested so often, we’ve lost count.

Not that he’s always been lucky. Chris, who turns 26 this week, spent months in jail last year following his 2013 arrest for assault in D.C.

If it is any indication of his legal history, in January, Chris Brown’s probation was revoked … because of a "pattern" of shootings at his concerts.

Fortunately, the oft-troubled R&B star has plenty to smile about these days, as evidenced by the Royalty photos he’s shared with the world.

That would be his daughter, Royalty, conceived with Nia Guzman in 2013 but just recently revealed … to then-girlfriend Karrueche Tran’s dismay.
