Jana Kramer knows more than she wants to about adultery.
As has been well documented, even by the former One Tree Hill actress herself, husband Mike Caussin cheated on Kramer and even claimed awhile back that he’s a sex addict.
This is old news, for those who follow the world of celebrity gossip at least.
And yet Kramer’s history is suddenly semi-relevant because she thinks it has given her permission to speak out on the ongoing controversy surrounding Justin Timberlake.
For those unaware, the pop star was spotted late last month.
In New Orleans.
Looking very drunk.
And holding hands with actress Alisha Wainwright.
Timberlake, of course, is married to Jessica Biel.
It doesn’t appear as if he and Wainwright did more on the night in question than touch hands and maybe whisper into each other’s ears — but Kramer still thinks JT acted in an inappropriate manner.
On Sunday’s installment of her podcast, Whine Down, Kramer labeled Timberlake’s action as "just wrong."
She then elaborated as follows:
"It’s just because you’re putting yourself in a bad situation of basically like, hey, you’re inviting the next step if there’s a next step."
This seems very obvious; we’re not sure anyone needs to explain why a spouse should NOT hold hands with anyone who is not his or her wife.
And yet Kramer continued, saying that she’s "held hands with people" that she was not dating before she married Caussin.
However, she said she "learned" that such behavior isn’t the right thing to do.
The Dancing With the Stars alum proceeded to issue a warning to Caussin, an ex-NFL player, about what would happen if he ever got handsy with another woman:
"I would slaughter you if your hands were on someone else," she said.
Kramer says this now — but she didn’t seem to care much this fall when she found a photo of a topless woman on her husband’s phone.
The “Can’t Stop the Feeling” crooner and Wainwright are currently filming a movie, Palmer, together in Louisiana.
Timberlake has not commented on the allegation that he got too close with the actress las month.
But a rep for Wainwright has shot down all such chatter.
“There is no validity to this speculation," this rep says. "They are working on a project together."
