Robin Williams’ daughter Zelda has returned to Twitter, refusing to be defined by the bullies who forced her off last month in the wake of her father’s suicide.

Zelda Williams quit the social media site days following Robin’s death August 13, but is now back. The 25-year-old tweeted "Thank you" on Monday.

What was the younger Williams thankful for?

A quote from Harvey Fierstein, which reads: "Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one’s definition of your life; define yourself."

Some words to live by right there.

Zelda previously announced that she would be leaving Twitter and Instagram after she encountered some negativity about Robin. She wrote on Instagram:

"I will be leaving for a [bit] but while I heal and decide if I’ll be deleting it or not. In this difficult time, please try to be respectful of the accounts of myself, my family and my friends."

As for why she was taking a break from the web? "Mining our accounts for photos of dad, or judging me on the number of them is cruel and unnecessary."

"There are a couple throughout, but the real private moments I shared with him were precious, quiet, and believe it or not, not full of photos or ‘selfies.’"

Zelda also spent some time fighting critics on her Twitter who made rude, thoughtless comments about her father’s suicide. Some even sent fake suicide photos.

She tweeted at the time: "I’m sorry. I should’ve risen above. Deleting this from my devices for a good long time, maybe forever. Time will tell. Goodbye."

We’re glad she’s back. RIP Robin.
