President Barack Obama has sent a message to both PETA and Bristol Palin:

Suck it!!!!

The Hollywood Gossip Logo

Okay. Maybe this was not his exact message.

But the Commander-in-Chief is currently in Alaska to help combat climate change in that state, and he took over the White House’s Instagram account today in order to pose for a selfie with Bear Grylls.

"Glad this was the only Bear I met in the park," Obama wrote as a caption to the image.

But PETA called out the President this week, telling him to find a different avenue through which to combat climate change because it believes Grylls’ shows are "demeaning and sexist."

Added the organization of Running Wild with Bear Grylls:

"This internationally condemned program, on which women have been bullied into slitting a baby pig’s throat and eating a mouse soaked in urine, is the last place for the 44th president to be seen."

Along with the selfie, Obama shared many of the sights of the Alaskan Arctic on social media, calling attention to his agenda in the process and writing:

"Markers throughout Exit Glacier show how much it’s receded over time. The impacts of climate change are real, and the people of Alaska are living with them every day.

"It’s never been more important for us to work together to address this challenge."

But that’s not why Bristol Palin thinks Obama is in her home state.

She wrote a long blog post in which she accused Obama of playing political games and only caring about the renaming of some mountain and wasting taxpayers’ money and…. sorry, we just can’t do it.

Go ahead and read Bristol’s diatribe for yourself if you so desire.
