Winter is coming.

And the cast members who comprise HBO’s Game of Thrones will be able to buy the warmest coats they can find in order to brave falling temperatures.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the stars of this epic have all received “huge raises” in exchange for signing on for a seventh season. Those raises will kick in immediately.

Game of Thrones Season 4, of course, only just ended this spring.

But HBO has already picked up the enormous hit for Season 5 and Season 6, with the former shooting on location as we type.

These raises “will make the cast members among the highest paid on cable TV,” an insider tells The Hollywood Reporter, although HBO is yet to comment on the story.

Those on the A Tier – Kit Harington, Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke and Nikolaj Coster-Walda – renegotiated their deals together, while B Tier players (such as Natalie Dormer and Sophie Turner) are paid on a lower scale… but will also be receiving a healthy bump.

Last year, Game of Thrones topped The Sopranos as HBO’s most-watched series in terms of average gross viewership.

It is based on a series of best-selling George R.R. Martin and it shows no signs of slowing down.

However, creators David Benioff and D. B. Weiss have hinted very strongly that the already legendary series will wrap up at the conclusion of Season 7.
