Sources have confirmed that Zooey Deschanel is the mother to a baby girl!
A rep for the actress announced this blessed event via statement, though no further details are available regarding the child.
While we await news of her name, length and weight, we do have another piece of Zooey Deschanel news to pass along: She’s married!
The quirky actress exchanged vows with Jacob Pechenik on July 21 in Texas.
Deschanel and Pechenik (who works as a producer) have worked hard to maintain their privacy since going public with the former’s pregnancy in January.
The star behind so many hilarious New Girl quotes joked about one negative to this expecting state in an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live this spring:
"You can’t have sushi. You can’t have cheese that tastes good. You can have a little bit [of coffee], but I would have, like, four cups a day.
"And now I can have a half cup, which is a joke! It’s a total joke!"
