Jenelle Evans knows how to throw a fit.
If there’s one thing in this whole entire world she knows, it’s that.
Well, it’s that or proper bong maintenance.
Yep, Jenelle can throw a fit like it’s her job, because in a way, it is. She’s definitely brought the drama during her many years on Teen Mom 2, and we’re all so thankful for that.
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and while her brand of drama was never exactly good, we can probably all agree that it’s gotten uncomfortably terrible at this point.
So it might actually be for the best that all signs are pointing to Jenelle being done with MTV.
For real this time.
Where to Begin?
So … it’s been a bit of a week for Jenelle. And yeah, you could probably say that most weeks out of the year with some accuracy, but these past few days have been especially eventful.
As Always, Poor Kaiser
Sometime last week, precious little Kaiser went to spend some time with Nathan Griffith and his mother, Doris. And after they noticed some bruising on the child, they decided to take action.
Here We Go
(Getty) Nathan reportedly sent David Eason a text to let him know that he believed he’d been abusing Kaiser, and Doris made a police report. She also told Jenelle that she wouldn’t be returning Kaiser to her that Sunday as planned.
Too Sad
A 911 call that Nathan made has also been released, and during that conversation, he can be heard claiming that Kaiser had told him that “David hit him with a stick.”
Go, Doris!
When Sunday came, Doris kept her word — she refused to drop Kaiser off with Jenelle and David. And Jenelle, well, she got real aggravated, dude. Enough that she called the police and drug them down to Doris’ house to settle things.
Tough Break
(MTV) The poor officer who dealt with this mess got child protective services involved, and the CPS agent determined that while Kaiser did have bruising, there wasn’t any definitive proof that the bruises were due to abuse, so there was nothing she could do.
Sorry, Jenelle
But as it turns out, police officers trump CPS agents, and the officer felt like the situation was fishy enough to allow Kaiser to stay with Doris and Nathan.
Typical
Jenelle dealt with that in her classic Jenelle way — through social media. She made several posts on all of her accounts, some gushing about how great a father figure David is to Kaiser and how much Kaiser loves him, some bashing Nathan for his behavior around their son, some assuring the few fans she has that she’d be getting her child back ASAP.
Ugh
She was right — on Tuesday evening, she got another police escort and headed back to Doris’ home, where she was able to get Kaiser back.
Justice, Please?
According to a report from The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, CPS did a quick investigation in which they spoke to employees at Kaiser’s daycare, police officers that have dealth with the situation, CPS agents from Jenelle’s county, as well as Barbara Evans, and “they determined that no abuse has occured.”
How Nice
Jenelle and David also took drug tests, which they passed, and that was that.
Welcome Back, Kaiser
“There is no emergency hearing happening,” the source claimed. “Kaiser is going home with Jenelle, end of story. Doris is very upset. She didn’t know Jenelle was coming.”
Disappointing
So it seems like there’s not going to be a continuation of the custody battle Doris began last fall when she first became suspicious that Kaiser was being abused — Jenelle will maintain custody of Kaiser like this whole awful event never happened.
Bad News
And as far as we the viewers are concerned, it may as well have never happened — MTV wasn’t able to film anything from these last few days because Jenelle is still refusing to sign a new contract.
Thanks for Nothing, Jenelle
According to another report from The Ashley, MTV is very aware of what’s been happening, and “They were literally BEGGING Jenelle to film” because “the producers really want this Kaiser stuff included in the show.”
We Deserve This, Babe
“They keep telling her it’s part of ‘her story’ and she will get a chance to show her side of what’s happening but she still said no,” the site’s source reveals.
Is It Really Happening?
This isn’t the first we’ve heard of Jenelle’s contract — she was supposed to sign over a month ago, when Dr. Drew came down to her swamp house to film her for the Teen Mom 2 reunion. Remember, she refused to attend the taping with everyone else because MTV wouldn’t agree to pay for David to travel with her because he’d been fired.
He’s Not Worth It, Girl
We’ve heard many times now that she’s been holding out on signing the new contract until MTV agrees to work with David again, or at least to pay for him to do stuff or let him hang out while they film her.
Please No
Earlier this month, she even said herself that she may leave the show and do her own show instead, which … yeah, good luck with convincing anyone else to hop on that Hot Mess Express.
Good Riddance
Still, that first part may be true — The Ashley’s insider says “The contract situation is at a complete stop right now. She rejected the contract [the producers] sent her last week. She didn’t even read it once she saw that David wasn’t going to be allowed to participate, even behind the scenes.”
Of Course
“[MTV] is not negotiating with her on it, and Jenelle is not budging.”
The Clock is Ticking
(MTV) Jenelle better decide real quick if David’s involvement with the show and/or some help with airfare to reunions is really worth losing her job over, because it sounds like MTV is almost ready to give up on her.
Do It, Do It!
(MTV) “If Jenelle doesn’t sign, [the producers are] planning to just move forward without her because they’re not budging,” another source claims.
Back to Four?
“The other girls are ready and willing to film, and the producers and crew were off work way too long already because of this hold-up,” this source explains. “They have to move the show forward, because they are missing too many important milestones in the girls’ lives.”
Whoa
(MTV) Guys … this really could be it for Jenelle. She really could lose her spot on Teen Mom 2 because of David. Can you imagine what other kind of job she could possibly get with her history? Or what her life would be like without an MTV crew to check in on her? Do you even want to imagine it?
