Briana DeJesus … well, sometimes all you can say is “bless her heart,” you know?
She’s just been through so much, and she’s just so intense.
Nobody even has time to document all of her crazy feuds and dramatic moments and actual real life issues.
But right now, she has a brand new, extra serious issue going on.
As she explained, she’s “dying.”
Bad Times
We’re talking about Briana right now, but it’s also worth mentioning that the Teen Mom cast as a whole has had its share of illnesses, right?
So Heartbreaking
Leah Messer’s family definitely comes to mind when thinking about this topic — one of her twins, Ali, has an extremely rare form of muscular dystrophy.
Poor Maci!
Maci Bookout deals with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and she’s been open about how extremely painful it is when her cysts rupture.
Just Temporary!
This one was just temporary, but Catelynn Lowell developed gestational diabetes while she was pregnant with her second child, a condition that if left unmanaged can cause serious complications.
Oh, Jenelle …
And who could forget that time that Jenelle could see molecules and went to see all kinds of doctors because no one could figure out what was wrong with her? Most people thought she was trying to score pills, but apparently she was having an adverse reaction to a new birth control pill.
Too, Too Much
Several cast members have also dealt with mental illness including depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, addiction … just so much mental illness.
Closer to Home
Briana herself has had health problems impact her own family, even before this new thing.

Her mother, Roxanne, has lupus.
Not the Baby!
And her younger daughter, Stella, was born with a heart condition, and on Teen Mom 2 we saw that she had to be monitored while she was sleeping.
Give the Baby a Break
Stella also recently developed septic arthritis, a condition that required surgery and a few days in the hospital.
No!
Things were so serious that Briana explained in an interview that Stella “could have possibly died.”
What Now?!
And as if all that wasn’t enough for the DeJesus family, Briana has just revealed that she has something very serious going on with her own health.

On Twitter, she announced that “I have bad ulcers in both my eyes and I am dying.”
… Oh
So … that’s it?
To Be Fair …
According to the always reliable WebMD, ulcers that happen in the eye are called corneal ulcers, and they can cause “severe pain,” as well as blurred vision and “pus or thick discharge draining from your eye,” which definitely sounds miserable.

But no matter how miserable Briana may be with her ulcers, she’s not actually dying.

“Why is this happening to me???” she asked her Twitter followers.
Legit Scary
Someone told her that a friend of his went blind in one eye from a corneal ulcer, and she replied “Oh wow that is scary! They gave me drops. Every 15 mins for the first 6hrs then every hour for the next 14 days.”
Get It Together
A friend called her out for having issues with her eyes for a while now, and she said “Bitch I’ve had the same issue for months. I’m just now getting it checked out lmao.”
Tough Break
“Wow my eyes are so bad right now,” she complained later.
Not Smart
Hopefully everything clears up for her — judging by how thick her glasses are, she probably doesn’t have the best eyes anyway.
Yikes
Going blind in one eye, or, heaven forbid, both, is obviously a huge deal, and if that’s a concern here, then she really needs to get everything taken care of, and fast.
Easy, Killer
But no matter how much all of this must suck for her, she’s still not dying.
