Is she here yet?!?!?!?!?

This is pretty much the only question on the minds of celebrity gossip followers around the world.

For the most part, however, everyone is gathered around his or her computer screen and hitting refresh over and over and over and trying to learn whether or not Meghan Markle has given birth yet.

According to certain outlets, her and Prince Harry’s Royal Baby is actually already here — the couple is just keeping its arrival under wraps in order to spend some quality time with the kid prior to a media onslaught.

(Unlike Kate Middleton when her third child was born last year, Markle has already said she will NOT get all dolled up and pose with the newborn outside the hospital mere hours after its birth.)

In the face of rumors about the child’s arrival or pending arrival, Buckingham Palace has taken the unusual step of issuing a statement on this subject.

Simply put, "the baby hasn’t been born yet," a spokesperson says, putting to rest at least a little bit of the chatter.

Just last week, Queen Elizabeth visited Harry and Meghan at theiri new home of Frogmore Cottage, causing some to believe she was there to see her brand new grandkid.

Moreover, Markle was not present at Easter Church services last Sunday.

But she is very pregnant and likely just taking it easy until the big day gets here.

She’s also on official maternity leave, meaning no public appearances are on Markle’s schedule.

Due to the intense scrutiny around Meghan’s romance with Prince Harry, the Palace has often taken this kind of unusual step, issuing various statements on various issues over the past couple years.

First, Harry told critics and trolls to stop harassing Markle, way back when they first started dating and evil Internet users took exception to the relationship becakse Markle is American… or of mixed heritage… or whatever stupid problems these people invented at the time.

Then, the Palace had to speak up and try to quiet all those rumors of a Kate Middleton versus Meghan Markle feud.

This attempt has mostly failed, of course, as most observers still assume the Duchesses are at odds with each other.

From there, in April, a spokesperson acknowledged that Harry and Meghan would be keeping their birthing plan private.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very grateful for the goodwill they have received from people throughout the United Kingdom and around the world as they prepare to welcome their baby,” Buckingham Palace wrote in this message, adding:

“Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private.

"The duke and duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.”

Meghan and Harry announced in October of last year that they are expecting their first child, saying he or she was due “in the spring of 2019.”

Spring her now sprung and an anxious public awaits the gigantic news.

Unless, of course, as theorized below, Markle is NOT actually pregnant…
