Lea Michele rose to nationwide fame by starring as Rachel Berry on the Fox series Glee for six years.
According to a bunch of her co-stars, however, the actress made them feel anything but gleeful during their time together on set.
Michele’s diva-like behavior has come to light this week after the star tried to voice support for those protesting police brutality and racial injustice around the country these days.
On Friday, Michele Tweeted the following:
"George Floyd did not deserve this. This was not an isolated incident and it must end."
As you can see below, Michele added the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter.
Almost no one of sound mind criticized Michele for this statement, not on its surface.
George Floyd was killed in late May by a Minnesota police officer who knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes.
In response to the fatal incident, protests have broken out in well over 100 cities across the country, often resulting in violence and further examples of police brutality.
In response to Michele’s specific Tweet, however, a couple past colleagues have spoken out and slammed the actress as a hypocrite.
Most notably among them? Samantha Marie Ware.
Tweeted Ware in reply to Michele over the weekend:
"LMAO REMEMBER WHEN YOU MADE MY FIRST TELEVISON GIG A LIVING HELL?!?!" Ware tweeted.
"CAUSE ILL NEVER FORGET. I BELIEVE YOU TOLD EVERYONE THAT IF TOU HAD THE OPPORTUNITY YOU WOULD ‘S— IN MY WIG!’
Ware said the incident was among "OTHER TRAUMATIC MICROAGRESSIONS THAT MADE ME QUESTION A CAREER IN HOLLYWOOD…"
Ware appeared in 11 episodes of Glee in 2015, portraying glee club hopeful Jane Hayward.
Her character ended up joining the group New Directions, helmed by Michele’s Berry.
This actress has also appeared in shows such as Barry, What/If, and God Friended Me.
Ware’s Tweet quickly went viral, garnering nearly 60,000 Likes — and counting
It also prompted others who have worked with Michele to nod along in virtual agreement with this take on Michele.
"GIRL YOU WOULDNT LET ME SIT AT THE TABLE WITH THE OTHER CAST MEMBERS CAUSE “I DIDNT BELONG THERE” F— YOU LEA," wrote Dabier, who appeared on a 2014 episode of Glee.
Then there was Alex Newell, who acted alongside Michele on Glee…
… and who encouraged Ware to speak up by sharing the "Get her, Jade" meme from RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Actor and Drag Race alum Willam Belli quote-tweeted Newell’s post by saying "Lea treated me so subhuman i left the set of Glee. Pass the [popcorn emoji]"
Amber Riley, meanwhile, was a full-time cast member on Glee since the premiere. Just like Michele.

Michele has not responded to this controversy or tried to defend herself against all these accusations of really awful behavior.
And for good reason, too, we’d have to imagine.
When the criticism is this pervasive and this universal, what is there for her to even say?
