This month, Presley Gerber’s face tattoo has elicited a lot of concern. His gun video hasn’t exactly reassured people, either.

A new report says that his family is worried too — but they’re working on it.

E! News reports that Presley’s parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, aren’t taking Presley’s recent behavior lightly.

"Cindy and Rande are definitely concerned about their son," an insider assures.

According to the source: "They truly want to make sure he is okay."

That, of course, is no surprise. It would be hard for any parent not to be alarmed after Presley’s social media antics.

"Innocent little me before all the horrid tattoos," Presley recently wrote on Instagram beside a video of him firing a gun.

He mocked anyone concerned about him, saying: "Y’all know nothing."

The insider tells E! News that Cindy and Rande have been "been trying to get Presley help since his DUI last year."

In early 2019, he was pulled over in his Tesla and arrested. The 20-year-old was charged with a DUI and ended up taking a plea deal.

"He has just fallen off the beaten path," the source characterizes.

The insider reveals that "he has been in treatment before."

The source shares that Cindy and Rande love and support Presley "but they are pushing for something more serious" than past interventions.

It’s not that they want to punish him for living his own life, of course.

"They want to make sure he’s in a good mental state," the insider explains.

Cindy and Rande just want Presley to be safe and out of trouble "and are closely watching him," the source reasons.

Neither his face tattoo — the word "misunderstood" written under his eye — nor firing a gun at a gun range are illegal.

But both can be red flags regarding the possible deterioration of someone’s mental health. It’s all about context.

Kaia Gerber reportedly shares her parents’ concerns about Presley’s well being.

According to the insider, she she has "really taken him under her wing" as best as she is able, even though he is two years older than she.

But the source says that this has been challenging at best, because "Presley has a mind of his own."

"Things have been very tense in the family," the insider characterizes.

Presley previously explained on social media that he got the face tattoo, which was far from his first tat, because he "feels very misunderstood."

"If I thought this [were] going to ruin my face or I didn’t want this," Presley told critics, "I wouldn’t have done it."

He has every right to decorate his flesh prison however he likes. Given his family’s wealth, it’s not going to hurt his employment chances.

But in the context of last year’s DUI — at age 19 — and sending a message with a gun video, it’s possible that it’s a cry for help.

Presley’s family seems ready and willing to give him whatever help or support he requires. We wish them all the best.
