What did Kate Middleton and Prince William name their beautiful baby girl, the fourth in line for the throne, born Saturday morning in London?

We can tell you right here and now. Scroll down for her lovely name …

All hail Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have announced that their baby daughter, now two days old, is to be called Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.

Kensington Palace tweeted that they were "delighted" to announce the baby will be known as: "Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge."

To all those Britons who wagered money on Alice, which knocked one-time front-runner Charlotte out of the top spot among UK oddsmakers?

Betting on Manny Pacquiao to win would’ve been smarter.

Sky News (UK) Royal Commentator Alastair Bruce said of the Kate Middleton baby name selection: "It’s a name that has tremendous history."

"It will always provide a link to the past," Bruce added, yet "an opportunity for this young princess to create her own identity as Princess Charlotte."

Elizabeth, obviously was a "salute to Her Majesty The Queen," the long-reigning monarch who the Duke and Duchess are "hugely fond of."

He added that it was "almost inevitable" the name Diana was chosen due to the "extraordinary influence" Prince William’s mother had on his life.

William’s family is not the only side represented, however.

The name Charlotte, which is French in origin and means "petite" and "feminine," also happens to be the middle name of Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton.

This weekend’s long-awaited birth of the royal baby princess has been marked by gun salutes across London and general revelry across the world.

Hip, hip, hooray for Charlotte! Oh and George too …
