The following story gives a whole new meaning to the term money shot.

We’re very sorry.

We just had to go there…

In a lawsuit filed last week in Michigan federal court, an Indiana resident took his mother and father to legal task because they threw away his pornography collection.

The man said it was worth approximately $29,000.

According to these legal documents, the man explained that he lived with his parents in Grand Haven, Michigan for about 10 months following a divorce.

He then moved to Indiana after what the defendant claims to have been a domestic incident in August of 2017, which prompted his parents to "kick" him "out" of their home, he writes.

A short time later, these parents delivered boxes of items to their son’s new home — but the items did NOT include the aforementioned pornography collection.

The man asked his parents about the "missing property," and they said "the items were destroyed," the lawsuit states.

In a January of 2018 email that was also included in the lawsuit, the father admitted to destroying some of his son’s belongings.

"I do not possess your pornography. It is gone," the email reads.

It continues:

"It has been either destroyed or disposed of. I may well have missed a few items that are now in your possession but, at this point, if you don’t have it, it is gone."

"Ditto for your sex toys and smutty magazines."

His father added in this email that it "took quite a while" to destroy 12 moving boxes full of pornography and two boxes of "sex toys."

We can’t put a value ourselves on this collection, unaware of what was comprised in it, but 12 moving boxes of pornography is A LOT of pornography.

"I did you a big favor by getting rid of all this stuff for you," the father concluded in this harsh message.

Also included in the lawsuit are lists compiled by the man of the X-rated items he is missing.

He says that over 400 VHS tapes, more than 1,600 DVDs (including multiple copies of some titles), 160-plus CDs and around 70 sex toys were simply tossed away by his parents.

Unable to come to a resolution with his parents, the man said he filed a police report with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department in Michigan in which he alleged the value of his collection to be $10,000 to $30,000, factoring in his "emotional attachment" to the items.

He is now suing them for $87,000, likely adding many thousands on to their value due to the pain and suffering their absence has caused him.

"If you had a problem with my belongings, you should have stated that at the time and I would have gone elsewhere. Instead you choose to keep quiet and behave vindictively," the man wrote back to his dad, according to the lawsuit.

His father then shot back:

"I destroyed your porn for your own mental and emotional health. I would have done the same if I had found a kilo of crack cocaine."

"Someday, I hope you will understand."

Doesn’t sound like that day will arrive any time soon.
