There’s been a Taylor Swift sighting.
We repeat: THERE’S BEEN A TAYLOR SWIFT SIGHTING!
Why is this suddenly major news? Because Swift has essentially been in hiding for months.
We’ve heard very little from the singer since Kim Kardashian and Kanye West outed her as a liar this summer, with Taylor not even saying a word publicly after she split from Tom Hiddleston.
We’ve heard that she’s back in the studio.
We saw an Instagram post in which she wished Karlie Kloss a happy birthday.
But that’s sort of been in for several weeks now.
But Swift made an appearance over the weekend at Liberty Ross’ 38th birthday party, which was held at the home that model shares in Malibu with music producer Jimmy Iovine.
(Ross, of course, was married to Rupert Sanders way back in the day when the director was caught kissing Kristen Stewart, which led to the breakup of Stewart and Robert Pattinson.)
Posing frequently in a photo booth inside the mansion, Swift showed off her shorter blonde bob while hanging with numerous celebrity friends.
There was the birthday girl herself… Mary J. Blige… Mick Jagger… and the women of Haim.

But here’s the very surprising part:
According to Us Weekly, the artist had herself quite a blast on dance floor with actress and Goop founder, Gwyneth Paltrow.
Who knew these two were close?
Did Taylor just add another big name to her #Squad?
“Gwyneth Paltrow was dancing with Taylor Swift and hanging out with her a lot,” a source told the tabloid, adding:
“They seemed like good friends. Taylor was in an amazing mood and very social.”
Earlier this month, Swift went to her first public event following her split from Hiddleston, supporting good friend Gigi Hadid during New York Fashion Week.
It remains unclear just what her next professional step will be.
The singer has released a new album in the winter of every other year since 2008.
Might this mean new Taylor Swift music is on the horizon? There’s a good chance.
Might her chilling with Paltrow mean that Swift is working on a lifestyle site of some kind instead?
