NFL star Danny Amendola no longer plays for the New England Patriots.
But given his problematic attitude toward women, it seems the Lions wide receiver would still be a perfect fit in Robert Kraft‘s organization.
Until recently, Amendola was dating Olivia Culpo, a former Miss USA, popular model and Instagram influencer.
The couple has been on and off ever since he was caught cheating in October, but it seems they split for good sometime in the past few weeks.
Over the weekend, Culpo was spotted partying at Coachella with Zedd, a DJ who’s best known for banging Selena Gomez.
Anyway, it seems Danny didn’t appreciate the intel from Indio, Calif., and he made his feelings about his ex very clear in one of the pettiest Insta-rants of all time:
“Olivia chooses and wants to be noticed on the internet and in Hollywood to make money,” he wrote on Friday.
“Which was hard for me to understand but quickly had to learn. Where as the cost of fame in this world doesn’t appeal to me. I play ball for one reason and that’s RESPECT.”
Yes, we’re sure Danny would continue to get his brains rattled around his skull every week without the fame and fortune because RESPECT is all that matters in his world!
Normally, we’d pause to point out the irony of someone going on on a lengthy Instagram tirade to accuse their ex of being overly thirsty on Instagram, but we’ll hold off today.
From there, Amendola remarked that his sex life with Culpo was "f–king crazy," because of course he did.
The next morning, he attempted to do assume the role of sagacious memelord:
“I don’t participate in fake intangibles that consume the public eye,” he wrote, alongside a picture of a lion.
“I’m a private, single guy and if everyone’s happy – I’m happy."
“If you’re my real friend you know I’m private," he added, in case you didn’t get the point about how totally private he is the first time around.
Also, he totally hates Instagram, bro (or so he tells his millions of Instagram followers):
"My mother, brother, father and nephew are closest to me in this world and you don’t see one picture of them and that’s for their protection from those who criticize and judge."
"I believe in nailing picture frames on the inside of my house to remind the ones I love that I care.”
That’s … not why people hang pictures on their walls, but whatever.
Anyway, Danny is a private, low-key guy — who absolutely loses his sh-t in a public forum every time he learns that his ex has been "dancing with scrony little f–k" at Coachella.
We think he meant "scrawny."
From there, things really get bonkers, as Amendola threatens to release "a whole cellphone of funny, embarrassing, sexy pics IG would love to have."
Normal guy!
“Fake people have an image to maintain," Amendola added, as though those words mean anything "The real ones jus don’t care.”
Normally we’d say this is a guy who doesn’t have anyone telling him when to step away from his phone, but thankfully, Amendola’s former teammate Julian Edelman did exactly that.
“Get off Instagram please … thanks," Edelman commented on Amendola’s manifesto.
On behalf of all that’s good and decent in the world, we second that request.
