In the eyes of some of her social media followers, Jill Duggar simply can’t do anything right.

Folks love to criticize Jill’s parenting, and while the controversies are often way overblown, she does give the public an awful lot of ammunition.

There are times when Jill gets unfairly slammed for parenting decisions that are more quirky than damaging, such as the time she put a tortilla on her son’s head to keep his scalp from getting sunburned.

And then there are those occasions on which her critics seem to have a point, like the time Jill made her kids walk several miles to get to the nearest Chick-Fil-A.

(Her sons are 3 years and 9 months old, and we think the Duggars sometimes lose sight of the fact that there are other food options in this world.)

We’ll leave it up to you to determine which category Jill’s latest "parenting fail" falls into.

It all started with this video, which was posted to the Dillard family’s website earlier this week:

It all seems innocent enough.

Jill simply shows viewers a way to combine a car seat with an umbrella stroller, which offers a less bulky alternative to "the big single stroller" and is apparently convenient for "tight spaces" such as the Duggar’s favorite destination, church.

However, as In Touch Weekly points out, fans quickly lost it, accusing Jill of putting her child at risk in the name of a lazy "parenting hack."

"Not a good idea at all. Infant seats are meant for the stroller it came wianh not a umbrella stroller," commented one Instagram user.

"This isn’t a safe trick it’s a dangerous one," wrote another.

One follower really went in, attacking not only the stroller hack, but Michelle Duggar’s entire approach to parenting:

"Michelle Duggar is NOT someone we want to be taking parenting advice from," said a fan.

"Her litany of parenting hacks include: blanket training, assigning sister moms, turning a blind eye to her son molesting her daughters, using the ATI curriculum, not allowing her daughters to wear pants, denying her children the opportunity to go to university or college, and many many more."

Yeah, like we said, Jill’s parenting tips often result in disproportionate criticism – but it doesn’t seem like she’s planning to stop offering her questionable tips anytime soon.
