Taylor Swift just released her 7th studio album Lover and yes, it’s everything we have been waiting for.

From diss tracks to anthems to romance and butterflies, this album has been on repeat for the past 19 hours and I have 0 shame about it.

And neither does Scooter Braun.

That’s right, Scooter Braun, the guy who completely blindsided Swift after purchasing her former record label Big Machine Label Group, and now owns all of her previous work.

Yeah, that guy just took to Twitter to congratulate the singer on her "brilliant" album.

"Regardless of what has been said the truth is you don’t make big bets unless you are a believer and always have been," he tweeted.

"Brilliant album with #Lover. Congrats @taylorswift13. Supporting was always the healthier option. #brilliantalbum #brilliantcampaign congrats."

Woah

This tweet came a month after Taylor said she was "sad and grossed out" on Tumblr when she found out Braun’s company Ithica Holdings LLC took control over her previous masters.

She also accused the music manager of "incessant, manipulative bullying."

Yeah, it was all pretty dramatic and since then Taylor has publically opened up, multiple times, about how she does not like or respect Braun.

So, we’re going to go ahead and say his tweet did probably nothing except further fuel her mission of getting her songs back.

Besides, they may contractually own her old work now, but that doesn’t mean she can’t recreate it.

On Friday, Swift discussed re-recording her past albums while appearing on the Elvis Duran Show, saying that "your heart belongs in that art that you made."

"The person who bought my art, he’s never made any art in his life, so he doesn’t know what it’s like."

"He could never understand that personal connection when you make something and then someone buys it out from under you," she explained.

She also opened up about her re-recording plans during her performance on Good Morning America.

"My contract says that starting November 2020, so next year, I can record albums one through five all over again," she said.

"So, I’m very excited about it."

She’s going to be quite busy next year, with re-recording all of her old albums and (hopefully) going on tour for Lover, which BTW is officially the first album she has ever fully owned.

"it’s the first album of mine that I’ve ever owned, and I couldn’t be more proud," Swift tweeted after dropping the album.

The only thing we could imagine getting added to her plate would be a *whispers* wedding.

Ok, sure we’re getting ahead of ourselves here, but if the "Lover" music video was any indication, Joe Alwyn (or hey, maybe even Tay) could be popping the question here any day now!

They’ve got plenty of time for that though, Taylor is currently too busy soaking up all the love from her supporters at the moment, which includes celebrity pals Jack Antonoff, Ed Sheeran, Maren Morris, Ryan Hurd and model Martha Hunt, to name a few.

"Just landed and LOVER is out and i’m so proud and emotional and all the things and never been so excited for a connecting flight with this WHOLE album to bop to!!!" tweeted Hunt.

"Cornelia Street, London Boy, CRUEL SUMMER, THE MAN FALSE GOD (i love sexy Taylor) omg there are so many."

We hear you, Martha! We hear you.
