You probably know Pauly D from his long tenure as arguably Jersey Shore‘s most charismatic cast member.

Pauly provides the much-needed comic relief that balances out the constant high-stakes drama endured by Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Mike Sorrentino.

Without Pauly D’s levity and quotable catchphrases, the Sunday sauce of Jersey Shore becomes overwhelmed by the bitter and sour notes that   too often dominate his castmates’ storylines.

But Pauly is different from the rest of the guidos, and not only in the sense that he’s more apt to make viewers laugh than cringe.

Unlike most wildly successful reality stars, Mr. DelVecchio has a legitimate career that he seems to take even more seriously than his TV gig.

Yes, as you probably already know Pauly D is a DJ.

What you may not have realized, however, is that Pauly brokers absolutely no BS from haters throwing shade at his turntable skills.

Pauly recently posted a photo in which he can be seen working the crowd up as the assembled EDM fans dance to his music.

One of Pauly’s followers called shenanigans and was promptly put in his place.

“Who’s playing??? Dude youre fake,” the hater commented.

Always quick with a comeback, Pauly didn’t miss a beat in responding:

“Your wife, she takes over the table when I jump on stage,” DelVecchio shot back.

“She’s the best.”

Or as Pauly himself would put it:

“Ooooooooooooooooooooooooh! That was a good one.”

As for how the rest of the Shore family is holding up since the second installment of Family Vacation wrapped — well, it’s kind of a mixed bag.

Jenni Farley is getting divorced from Roger Mathews, a development that’s seriously bummed out viewers, as Roger was a longtime fan favorite.

Mike Sorrentino was sentenced to eight months in prison for tax fraud, which actually isn’t as bad as it sounds, when you consider dude was facing two years.

And as far as we can tell, Ronnie is back together with Jen Harley, a situation that seems sure to end in disaster.

But hey, at least Vinny is still sticking to his carb-free lifestyle.

As Pauly himself would say, “Yeah, Keto Guido!”
