It was Father’s Day on Sunday, and millions of Americans took to social media to pay tribute to the men who helped raise them.
Of course, many others bemoaned strained relationships and called out the abusive jerks who traumatized them for life.
David Eason is one such abusive jerk, and surely, someday his kids will mark the third Sunday in June by calling him out on Twitter.
But for now, Dave and wife Jenelle Evans are doing the honors himself by reminding the world that their kids were taken away after CPS determined that they’re unfit parents.

Father of the Year
We’ve known for years that David is an abusive monster, but it wasn’t until recently that authorities in North Carolina took steps to ensure his children’s safety.
Justice For Nugget
When David shot and killed the family dog, Nugget, CPS investigated and discovered that Eason’s children and stepchild were living in deplorable conditions.
Escaping to Safety
As a result, David’s daughters, Ensley and Maryssa, and his stepson Kaiser were all removed from the home and placed with relatives.
Dropping Like Flies
Jenelle and David both have other children whom they had previously lost custody of. Following the removal of Ensley, Maryssa, and Kaiser, none of the couple’s five kids are currently living with them.
Slow on the Uptake
Apparently, David and Jenelle are just now realizing it’s a sad situation, as they took to Instagram over the weekend to complain about their plight.
Pity Post
“IT’S TOO QUIET OUT HERE,” Jenelle wrote along with a photo of an abandoned swimming pool.
Yeah, No
Clearly, she was hoping for sympathy — but she’s not gonna find much of that on social media these days.

Although he has received some handy housekeeping tips: Many fans have suggested that since there have been no kids on the property for over a month, it might be time to clean up the pool toys and flotation devices!

In the weeks since David shot and killed little Nugget, his world has quickly come unraveled.

Jenelle briefly left him, but the couple quickly reconciled — and that’s when CPS stepped in.

The investigation determined that Jenelle and David were unable to provide a safe environment for their children.

Now, for the first time since in their relationship, Jenelle and David do not have any children living with them. And the situation seems to be taking a heavy emotional toll.

Jenelle and David have been doing their best to keep up appearances, but for the most part, it hasn’t been working.

Over the weekend, Jenelle blasted her mother, Barbara Evans, as her worst enemy, despite the fact that Babs is currently raising two of Jenelle’s kids.

The Easons have been on the defensive since Friday when Investigation Discovery posted an article about “frightening fathers” that prominently featured David.

The article listed David alongside such infamous fathers as Cleveland kidnapper Ariel Castro and serial killer John List.
Fake News?
“This channel is false and bunch of BS,” Jenelle wrote in a since-deleted Facebook post. “You put my husband on the most frightening list when he was PROTECTING HIS CHILD FROM BEING BITTEN BY A DOG IN THE FACE. This is absolutely absurd.”
On Blast
“I’ve been physically beaten by ex’s, slapped in my face, almost died, ran over by a truck from my ex….and NONE OF THIS was while I was in a relationship with David Eason,” she continued. “You have him on a list for SERIAL KILLERS and KIDNAPPERS AND ITS ALL UNTRUE.”
Oh, the Irony
Jenelle has lashed out like that several times since losing her kids. It seems she’s trying to clear her name, but she’s only making herself look even more unstable in the eyes of both the public and the people who will determine custody of her kids.
