Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are once again making it clear that they’re rebels with a cause.

And, in this case, that cause is the well-being of their children.

In the latest edition of their YouTube series, the parents of two acknowledged the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic

“Well, we don’t want the plague starting,” Dillard said to viewers on Monday, November 23, adding in a bit more detail:

“Yeah. So basically, yes, we do vaccinate our kids, but we do selective and delayed vaccinations."

Jill, who is the proud parent of five-year old Israel and three-year old Samuel, felt a need to qualify this admission as follows:

“We don’t want to overload their systems too much, so we want to make sure, of course, that they are well.”

Whether or not to vaccinate one’s kid has become a polarizing topic across the country, for reasons that defy logic and/or comprehension.

There has never been any scientific evidence to suggest vaccines harm their recipients in any way, shape or form.

Everyone should just listen to the medical community on this topic. It is literally their job to know best.

“We also want to space them out,” she added of vaccinations during thsi Q&A session, saying they can determine if either of their sons have a reaction to a specific shot by doing it that way.

Jill also said that she and her husband previously took Israel to get vaccines when they traveled abroad to central America and Derick did the same before he jetted off to Nepal for two years.

“Both of us grew up getting all the shots that were required,” Dillard said.

He noted that the couple is “not against” these kinds of medications and will do whatever they feel ensures their famiily’s health and safety.

How refreshing to hear, right?

Over the past several weeks, of course, Jill has made it more clear than ever before that she’s estranged from her family.

"Our control to choose what jobs we were allowed to accept and even where we were allowed to live was taken away from us," Jill told People Magazine last month about why there’s such distance between her and her parents.

"I never expected this to happen or for it to get to this point," Jill added.

"But I’m realizing I can’t put a timeline on healing. I love my family and they love me. I really just have to follow God’s lead and take it one day at a time."

This hasn’t just been talk from Jill, either.

She’s now on record as saying she and Derick use condoms during sex, which is being responsible in many ways, yes.

But it’s also sticking it to a mother and father who are strongly agaiinst birth control.

Oh, and speaking of sex?

Jill is all about keeping it kinky!

Jlil, meanwhile, is continuing to go out of her way to tell the world that she has major disdain for her mother and father.

To wit: She won’t be seeing them at all on Thursday.

"We will be hosting Thanksgiving with some of Derick’s family since they won’t be traveling this year, and maybe one other international family," Jill just told People.

"We are trying to keep our numbers low — under 10 people like our state recommends — due to COVID-19."

Jill also emphasized just how much Thanksgiving means to her.

"Over the past seven years, we’ve spent Thanksgiving in a lot of places and three different countries," she told this publication.

"But even when we are at home in the United States, we try to include our international friends, especially since Thanksgiving is an American holiday and a fun way to give them a glimpse into how we celebrate."

Just to be clear, though… she will not include her own parents.
